Elizabeth has lived in Vauxhall with her family for over 30 years. She has been a member of the Conservative Party for over 45 years and has stood in 2 Parliamentary elections.
She has served as a school governor for over 25 years in three very different schools including Chair at the primary school her daughters attended. She is currently Vice Chair of the governors at the Grey Coat Hospital.
She is a member of the Council of the Friends of Westminster Cathedral and is a volunteer cook at the homeless shelter there.
Professionally she was a primary school teacher in inner London and then changed careers to work in the voluntary sector serving as the Chief Executive of a charity for 13 years.
Her interests include cycling, skiing (not very well), playing bridge and music especially opera.
