Who are we?
Vauxhall Conservatives is one of the
fastest-growing political forces in South London, with membership up from 75 to
over 300 in the past six years.
It exists primarily to provide a campaigning
force promoting Conservative values locally, but we are also very proud of the
social side of our association. We throw some fantastic fundraising parties and
special events such Burns’ Night Suppers; because of our proximity to
Westminster, get some top-rate shadow-cabinet speakers such as Michael Howard,
George Osborne, Ken Clarke, David Willetts, Sir Malcom Rifkind, Caroline Spelman
and Hugo Swire.
Vauxhall Conservatives form part of the
Conservative Group on Lambeth Council, and often campaign jointly with our
sister constituencies in the Group, Dulwich & West Norwood and Streatham; and
also Battersea in Wandsworth. Together, these associations have nearly 2000
members, so you’re in very good company.
Membership subscription is £25/year, or £5/year
if under 22.
